Following discussion about prose, poetry and the writing life, with long-time friend and colleague, Liz Lochhead, he will return to read from Found at Sea, a new book-length narrative poem based on a dinghy-sailing trip from Stromness to an overnight stop on the abandoned island of Cava.

Described by The Times as ‘Scotland’s leading whisky expert’, Charles Maclean has been writing about Scotch whisky for thirty years and has published extensively about the subject. He also starred recently in Ken Loach’s award-winning film, ‘The Angels’ Share’.

Over a dram, he will share stories, experiences and secrets in an interactive, hour-long conversation.
