Geoff Hill

In a previous life, he was Ireland's most capped volleyball player, and these days he writes a weekly motorbike column for the Daily Mirror which is a desperate attempt to disguise the fact that he knows little about motorbikes. He’s also the editor of Microlight Flying magazine, the monthly colour glossy for pilots, in spite of the fact that he knows even less about aeroplanes than he does about motorbikes.

He's the author of nine books, including joke books, novels and travel adventures, and has won multiple UK, European and World travel writer of the year awards.

It was fabulous to hear Janice Galloway read from her book Jellyfish. A great evening.
