In the 21^st century, The Prestonpans Tapestry and The Great Scottish Tapestry revitalised the ancient tradition of telling stories through textile pictures. The third tapestry, inspired by Billy Kay’s book, inspired Andrew Crummy to design his most ambitious work which brought together over 700 individuals from 34 countries around the world: 300 panels each took an average of 200 hours to stitch. This illustrated talk is a rare opportunity to see this exquisite work of art.

NB: The tapestry is to be on view at Verdant Works, Dundee in two parts.
