Lin Anderson
Lin Anderson is a Scottish novelist and screenwriter best known for her bestselling series featuring forensic scientist Dr Rhona MacLeod. Beginning with Driftnet, Book 19 in the series, The Dead and the Dying is out August 2025. Lin is also co-founder of the international crime writing festival Bloody Scotland which takes place annually in Stirling, Scotland, mid September.
A former teacher of Mathematics and Computing Science, she has an MA from Glasgow University, a Masters in Education from Edinburgh University and a Masters in Screenwriting from Scotland's Screen Academy. She also took the Diploma in Forensic Medical Science at Glasgow University during her time as a crime writer.
