A Message from Craig Dennis, Blairgowrie Library

On the 17th March 2020, Culture Perth & Kinross made the difficult decision to close all our Libraries, Archives and Museums in the interests of public safety and suspended all our events until further notice. Since then we’ve been determined to keep those services we can offer online as accessible to as many people as possible. We have invested in additional content and e-lending resources, waived all library fines and extended current library loan periods indefinitely.

We’ve also been actively engaging with you all online, via our social media and through the website, and we are really pleased to see that so many of you are enjoying that content. Although, all CPK Libraries are closed but you can still join us online and access our free e-books, audiobooks, e-magazines and online newspapers at

Kids Alert- Our Summer reading Challenge is now online!

Would you like take part in The Reading Agency's Summer Reading Challenge 2020? The theme this year is 'Silly Squad' a celebration of silly books, fun and laughter. As I type this in mid-June, we don’t yet have any dates in place for when we can re-open to our customers. As soon as we do have news to share, I will be in touch with the Bookmark team to let them know the details.

In the meantime, I can now access emails, so if you have any questions about our ebooks/audiobooks, and the Pressreader service you can contact me on

Take care and stay safe

Craig Dennis
